Kingdom Association of Convenant Pastors

From The Bishop

It seems like just yesterday we were preparing for summer and all of the activities it brings. Now, schools have resumed, vacations have ended, and everyone is back at work and in the saddle of ministry. I marvel at how fast the years go by. It seems like we jump from January to June and then race on to December.

In the midst of this hectic pace, we are called to grow and to help people grow into the likeness of Christ; this is our mission. Out of the realization of that, we become aware of the unique calling God has for each and every one of us.

This year’s KACP Conference was intended to spur growth and to awaken each of us to our potential in Christ. The session and workshops were designed to cause us to think outside the box and to believe that new and amazing things could begin to happen. I truly believe the church is being challenged to be far more creative in presenting the gospel. We are called to let the world see and know Christ. In order to do that, we must fire the ovens of creativity and bake new ideas and projects.

As we move into fall, let’s make creativity a centerpiece of the ministry. Let the leaders in exercises of creativity make sure that the fire is still burning.

Finally, let me remind you to download the Periscope app. Each weekday I do a broadcast on Periscope at 9:30 a.m. and I would love to have you be a part of it. Over 2,000 people share this broadcast daily. Be sure to download it and follow us. You can read our information on the app and become aware of all we are doing.

Pastors, don’t forget the Retreat. It will take place on January 11–13, 2016 at the InterContinental Hotel in Miami, Florida. Let’s continue to make a difference.
