Greetings KACP,
I hope all of you are doing well and that you are gearing up for a powerful and productive summer. I am excited about the coming together of our group for the KACP Conference here at New Psalmist July 18-20, 2012. This year we are tackling a major issue, “The Case For Integrity.” We have all seen the tragic demise of so many of our colleagues. We have watched them paraded through the press with allegations dangling over their head while their ministries burned almost to ash. The Adversary has found a way to cripple our work. He attacks the integrity of the ministry and causes persons to lose their trust in the pastor and leadership and ultimately in God. This will be an important topic and I encourage everyone to be present and to bring your congregations so that they too may learn these valuable lessons. Deacons and Trustee, Staff members and Ministers has all been the target of the Adversary and the church has paid for their actions.
Register today and make sure you are a part of this most significant meeting. I am sure it will change your thinking and cause you to see ministry responsibility in a brand new light.
There are so many strong men and women in our organization. I pray that you are taking the time to get to know each other. I have watched so many of you grow into powerful men and women of God and I believe the doors for greater service are always opened to those who love people and deeply desire to see lives changed. At this years conference we will do some things that strengthen us in our fellowship one with another.
I look forward to seeing you in just a few weeks. There are so many deep issues for us to discuss. I hope you will join us for KACP Conference 2012.
Thank you,
Bishop Walter S. Thomas, Sr.
